Kylie Jenner's Style!

 Celebrity Style Inspiration
Kylie Jenner

She may be only 16 years old but at such a young age she is a fashion icon worldwide. From her instagram photos to her tumblr-  kalifornia-klasss.tumblr.com you can she she oozes style and rarely get's it wrong. She doesn't always opt for expensive brands with the first pair of shorts from Irish Brand Custom Vintage Dublin- www.customvintagedublin.com.

She knows how to dress for her age whether that be covering herself up or exposing just the right amount of skin.

I love how her style goes from simple tops with levi shorts and beanies to causal dresses, and classy black jeans. She has such simple outfits and it always looks so effortless.

I just wish I had her wardrobe *sigh*

How much does your face cost?

The Rules: Add up the total cost of all cosmetics used to complete a typical day look, excluding skincare and brushes!!

Face:

1.Concealer: Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection (3 Medium) 6.49

2.Foundation: Catrice Ultimate Moisture Fresh Skin Make Up (030 Honey) 6.99

3.Powder: Catrice All Matt Plus (030 Warm Beige) 4.49

4.Blusher: Catrice Defining Blush (020 Rose Royce) 3.99

Eyes

5.Urban Decay Naked Palette 44.00

7. Catrice 'Liquid Liner' (01 Dating Joe Black) 3.99

6. Catrice Better than false lashes' Mascara (Ultra Black) 4.49

Lips:

8. Vaseline Petroleum Jelly (Original) 2.19

So my face in total costs: 76.63 (£64.36 Sterling, $104.26 US Dollars). It does actually cost a lot considering that most of the products are drug store. The only expensive item is the Urban Decay Naked Palette which I received as a 2012 Christmas present. It is defiantly something that will last a couple of years!

So how much does your face cost?

"Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day"

Once again I find myself apologizing for the lack of being on here. Few reasons for this FINALLY got my laptop back, working and the days I have been off I have been SO lazy I really have.

It's weird not being back in college and it's kind of depressed me in a way. I miss being surrounded by people and friends all the time and living at home has definitely taken it's toll on me. But I decided it's time to make the best out of a bad situation and invest all my time in this and hopefully make a go of it.

So last week I headed back up to Galway for Arthurs day. Galway always has such a buzz around it all year round even in the quiet periods. But as last week was a popular day to be in Galway I headed back up to enjoy a night out and a pint of the black shtuff!!

17:59: 'To Arthur'

(I look like such a tourist)

After one too many jager bombs and lack of sleep the shops where hit hard the next day!
I have been looking for a long time for a gold watch. A Michael Kors Gold watch is something that has been on my wantworthy list for a long time and it will be on it for a long long time to come because of the hefty 250 price tag...

We popped into Brown Thomas to take a look at one :)

So considering I can't bare to part with 250 right now (not that I have the luxury to part with it either...) I looked in other places that would have a cheaper price tag but still looked just as classy.

I'm not sure where this is from but it just looks so cosy and classy.

This one is from River Island and just €37.
I was tempted so many times to buy it but what you can't see in this photo is that the face of the watch sticks up a lot and I just never really liked it that much.

So having seen a friend's friend with a Gold watch from Claire's Accessories I couldn't help but pick one up for myself at only 23. I had to have two links taken off to fit my wrist right but it is perfect now.

So I finally have a 'gold' watch that will suffice until I can afford a Michael Kors one which I WILL get eventually.

I love Gold 'Costume' jewellery they really pull an outfit together!

"If at first you don't succeed, apply more lipstick

It has been ages since I have wrote anything on this. I have had many excuses from broken laptop, crappy internet, workworkwork and exam repeats!! BUT I am back and hopefully for a more regular occurrence. The last time I wrote the sun was cracking the stones here in Ireland but since the sun has decided that we have had enough sun shine for one summer and has sadly disappeared for another year. So sadly summer is (sniff sniff) coming to an end....

The last few weeks I have purchased a few buys that I have seen to be staples in many beauty and fashion blogs. My favorite You-tuber and Blogger Zoella has always raved about the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick. So as this summer I have decided to try and wear more lipsticks I picked up two.

"Every woman needs a man who will ruin their lipstick not their mascara"

"Heels and red lipstick will put the fear of God into people"

"01"

01 claims to be an 8 hour glossy lipstick whereas the 107 has a velvety matte finish which I personally find lasts longer. The first thing I LOVED about these lipsticks (other than the color) was how they smelled when applying them to my lips. I am defiantly going to be buying more neutral tones to wear everyday.

The next couple of things I got which I LOVE LOVE LOVE and cannot stop wearing is the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail paint. Now the only thing I have to say is that the Blue Grape had a really bad smell from it. I didn't notice it the first time I applied it but the second time was not a good time for me...other than that i love them and they are long lasting.

The next two things where something that I have wanted for aaaaaaages. If you follow any beauty bloggers on you-tuber you will know and have heard many rave on about the real techniques make up brushes. I recently purchased one of the foundation brushes and it is the best brush I have used to apply liquid foundation. It doesn't leave any brush strokes on your face like cheaper brushes do. It is really affordable at 14 in Boots.

And finally my hair life saver. I never thought much about brushing my hair other than I hate it as I have ALOT of hair. I also got my hair ombred recently so the Tangle Teezer help's to deal with my knots ALOT.

Having used it for over a month I can safely say I am never going back to a normal hair brush or comb again. The closely spaced teeth allow knots to be removed a lot easier. It may be pricey for a 'hair brush' at 15 but in the long run it is worth it!

NEW HAIR!!

So there is some of my favorite things the last month that I have been loving!
I have some new ideas for the next few post so I can't wait to get on with doing them!

Hope everyone's having a nice evening wherever you are!
toodles!

Wake me Up Foundation Review & O.O.T.D.

So I have recently jumped on the band wagon and purchased the Rimmel Wake Me up Foundation. I had read many review's about it and seen people rave about it on YouTube so I said I would give it a go.
So off I went to a 20% sale in a pharmacy in town and I picked it up. The first thing I had trouble with was deciding what color to go for. Rimmel is known for having a small selection of shades to choose from but thankfully one of the sales assistants helped me out and I settled for 103 True Ivory. It is a teeny bit paler than I would normally go for but the next color up would have been way to dark!

So my first thoughts?

Usually I am never fussy with foundation but this one in this heat wave that we are having recently in Ireland is making my face look extra sweaty (nice image right!??). It's nice that it has SPF 15 as I know my face is protected. It seems very shimmery in the bottle but when it goes onto your face it doesn't show up as much. I also don't like how the foundation goes on with a brush I find I have to use my hands/sponge to blend it in. Hopefully with a new foundation brush I will have a better finish.

All I can say is if you have oily skin I would defiantly give this a miss. I have dry skin and even on me I feel it is sliding off my face. I suppose I will only know if I truly like it when the weather decides to cool down but for now it is a bit too moisturizing for my face.

As weather is so nice the last week I have got to dress nice and summery. So here is my outfit of the day.

Top:  2 pennys

Shorts:  28 Pull & Bear

Necklace:  €5 Pennys

Sandals:  €8 Pennys

Now I'm off to enjoy a family BBQ and this scorching weather!

Hope the sun is shining on you wherever you are! :)

Nails of the week! "You're only helpless when your nail polish is wet...."

So I am a person that get's bored of my nail polish color very easily and this week was no exception! I'm not aloud to wear nail polish to work (as I work with food) but as I haven't had many hour's this past week (zero to be exact) I thought I would take full advantage of this!!

I picked up two Catrice nail polishes in my local pharmacy that were a bit more summery/pastel colored. The three nail polishes I have below are in the 2-4 price range. They may be cheap but they are of a great quality. The two brands I have used can be found in most local pharmacy's with Penny's selling both brands there a while ago!

*Excuse the messiness around certain nails I ran out of nail polish remover :-/

"So many nail polishes....not enough fingers"

NYC: Times Square (224)

CATRICE: Don't Tell Mademoiselle! (02)

CATRICE: Play it Blue (C02, Limited Editon, Candy Shock)

So that has been my nails for the past week! I do find the NYC red 'fades' around the tips of my nails rather than chips. On the bright side the Catrice last a good few days without chipping! I am loving the last color it's so different from any other shade I've had before. It is also really nice that it isn't a gloss finish when it drys it has a matte finish which I love whereas the other two have a glossy shine! The odd thing about 'Play it blue' is that it states on the back of the bottle that it has an 'ultimate gloss'. Not sure where they were going with that but the picture speaks for itself!

I did purchase more items today in Boots etc so I will be doing a new post on that tomorrow!

Anyone have any nail polish recommendations? Loving pastel colors at the moment!!
