The Denim Jacket

I much prefer being on that ^^^^ side of the camera.

As part of my 2017 Dreamzzz  post (you can read that here) I said that I would try and do fashion posts because ultimately that's were I want to see this blog/my career in Journalism going. 

So it's three months into the year and I hadn't done one yet and since the weather was nice last weekend I said I was going to bite the bullet and see what would come of it. I also know I'm not wearing the most fashionable outfit: it was a lazy Saturday but the jacket and jumper are new so hey ho!!

So here are the finished results.

I am aware that I am by no means a fashion blogger or an expert, I wanted to do it for a laugh and to push myself out of my comfort zone and I can confirm it worked, so awkward: I mean look at my damn hands, what does one do with them in photos???

She may be only 16 years old but at such a young age she is a fashion icon worldwide. From her instagram photos to her tumblr-  kalifornia-klasss.tumblr.com you can she she oozes style and rarely get's it wrong. She doesn't always opt for expensive brands with the first pair of shorts from Irish Brand Custom Vintage Dublin- www.customvintagedublin.com.

She knows how to dress for her age whether that be covering herself up or exposing just the right amount of skin.

I love how her style goes from simple tops with levi shorts and beanies to causal dresses, and classy black jeans. She has such simple outfits and it always looks so effortless. 

I just wish I had her wardrobe *sigh*

Summer Loving, happened so fast...

                                                                       Summer......

                      Hair gets lighter. Skin gets darker. Water gets warmer. Drinks get colder. 

                                    Music gets louder.  Nights get longer. Life gets better. 

Summer is finally here! Exams are over, schools are nearly finishing up and today the sun has FINALLY decided to grace us with it's presence!

There isn't a cloud in the sky and Facebook is full of happy 'sun-filled' statuses. I was more than happy getting out of bed today considering the weather is on the up-side. It's been a while since I blogged but that hasn't meant that I haven't had time to shop. Penny's has been hit several times, and it will probably be hit one more time before I set off next week. 

Next Friday me and five other of my friends are heading to Magaluf in Majorca and considering the bad weather lately it has made the need for a holiday at an all time high. But this good day of sunshine made me want to share all some of the holiday clothes ( and jewellery etc etc...) that I have purchased over the last few weeks.  

'Life is to short to wear boring jewellery'

'Put your sunglasses on, because you ain't going home till the morning comes'

'I have too much swag with these socks and sandals' said no one ever. 

'We like short shorts'

'You know you're a 90's kid when....'

These tops were only €2 in pennys so I picked them up in three different colors!!!

So there is some of the clothes that I have gathered in the last few weeks. I have several of the same         tops but in different colors but I didn't feel the need to include them. I cannot wait to get away next week and wear all my new summery stuff. Now I am off to enjoy this nice weather that we are having because without a doubt it will probably only last a day or two. :)
